We always favour the simplest solution that genuinely meets the need.
1. Standard
Existing Odoo features cover almost all requirements. We mainly configure Odoo to suit your business.
2. Adapted
Odoo covers the core requirements, but some documents, automation, reports or workflows need adjustment.
3. Custom-built
Business operations require specific development or significant integrations.
We do not develop for the sake of it. When standard Odoo features meet the need properly, we use them.

Do your requirements change during the project?
No unexpected surprises.Every new request is assessed first. If it is minor and consistent with the scope, it may sometimes be included. If it is a new requirement, the options include:

Your questions about Odoo budgets
Is Odoo Community free?
Odoo Community does not require an Odoo per-user licence. These budgets mainly cover the work needed to analyse, configure, adapt, import data, train users and launch the solution. Some features may require Odoo Enterprise or complementary solutions. Where relevant, this is identified before the project.
Why not simply charge per user?
User numbers alone do not reflect project complexity. A three-user business with highly specific processes may require more work than a ten-user company mainly using standard features.
Can we start with a smaller budget?
Yes. If the available budget cannot cover the whole project, we can define a smaller initial scope and add the remaining requirements in a second phase.
Is custom development mandatory?
No. We favour standard Odoo features when they meet the need properly. Specific development is proposed only when it adds real value or addresses a business constraint that cannot otherwise be covered adequately.
Is transferring our data included?
A simple import of customers, suppliers, products and opening stock may be included depending on the project. Extensive history, data from multiple systems or files requiring substantial cleaning need a specific estimate.
Is training included?
Yes, initial training is generally included, with one or two sessions depending on the scope. Additional sessions can be proposed if needed.
Can Modoo Tech host our Odoo?
Yes. Odoo hosting and technical operations are available at the entry price shown above for small environments suitable for shared infrastructure. The price then depends on resources, storage and operational requirements. You are also free to use your own infrastructure.
What happens after go-live?
An initial assistance period is included. After that, occasional requests can be handled individually, and a support arrangement may be proposed for regular needs.
Are version migrations included in hosting?
No. A major Odoo upgrade requires a specific assessment of the database, modules and any custom development. It is therefore estimated separately.
How long does a project take?
A small project can be implemented relatively quickly, while projects involving several processes, data transfers or development take longer. A realistic schedule is provided once the scope has been agreed.
